Memory Walk2010 - Heritage Ministries is proud to participate in the 2010 Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk.  The Memory Walk brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who all want to make a difference. Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $200 million to help those battling Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

For 2010, Heritage Ministries has a goal of recruiting 150 or more walkers for our Memory Walk Team.  Would you be interested in joining our team for this historic quest and partnering with us to raise funds to help put an end to Alzheimer's? Becoming a member of our team for the Memory Walk can enhance your experience and multiply your impact on the fight against Alzheimer's.  Together, as a team, we are a force much greater than what you can accomplish alone.

Heritage Ministries walks in honor of our "Connections" program residents and all others affected by dementia.   “Connections” is a multi-faceted, person-centered dementia care program designed to engage skilled nursing residents in purposeful activities. "Connections" is offered at Heritage Park , Heritage Green , and Heritage Village Rehab & Skilled Nursing .  “Connections” includes an in-patient Day Care Center and focuses on and validates the residents’ remaining cognitive, emotional, physical, and social abilities, rather than their losses.
