Home DepotDecember 2009 - Recently, “Team Depot” volunteers donated time and project materials for several Heritage Village Rehab & Skilled Nursing Inc. residents.  Led by Kathy Smith, Home Depot Associate, “Team Depot” is a group of local volunteers that undertake special projects.  Team Depot donates countless hours, tools and supplies each year to worthy community service projects.

Team Depot volunteers provided yummy holiday cookies and various project kits for Heritage Village residents to choose from.  The volunteers provided assistance to each resident to successfully complete their projects and then spent the rest of the day socializing and sharing fun stories.

Susan Bannister, Director of Activities states, “Our residents cherished the time spent with the Team Depot volunteers.  Not only did these projects benefit our residents, but many Team Depot volunteers commented on how enriched and rewarded they felt as a result of this wonderful experience.  It definitely was a win-win situation for all involved!”
