Edwin Rodriguez, Jr., of Bemus Point, NY, has been named as the new Director of Development and Community Engagement for Heritage Ministries, Lisa Haglund, President and CEO of the organization, shared this week.
As a member of the advancement team, Rodriguez will establish, maintain, and expand community relationships, support impactful donor communications, and grow signature events across Heritage, nationwide. He will be based in Gerry, NY on the campus of The Homestead.
Haglund shared, “We are blessed to welcome Edwin to Heritage. We believe his expertise, prior experience in senior housing and community engagement, and passion will add tremendous value to our organization and those we serve.”
Rodriguez, a resident of Bemus Point, NY is a 2006 graduate of SUNY JCC, with an associate’s degree in communications and earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing in 2008 from SUNY Fredonia. He is also a 2018 graduate of the LeadingAge IGNITE Leadership Academy. Rodriguez also currently serves as the Secretary to the Northwest Arena Board of Directors and is a former member of the board of directors for the Child Advocacy Program.
