Our Life Enrichment and Activities staff works each day within COVID-19 regulations to provide creative activities and exercises that help our residents to stay engaged and aware. While we are unable to provide group activities due to distancing requirements, we are working diligently to continue to innovate and make each day more enjoyable for them. We also are able to provide window, Zoom, and Facetime visits and activities for those who are unable to have face to face visits with their love ones. Many skilled nursing and assisted living communities in New York State continue to struggle under current state guidelines and restrictions around family visitation. We are encouraging resident family members to advocate with us for a more reasonable, thoughtful approach to reopening visitation.
