Lisa Haglund, President and CEO of Heritage Ministries, announced that Melissa Anderson has been named the Corporate Director of Communications for the organization.
Anderson, a native of Kennedy, New York, is a graduate of Jamestown Business College, and most recently served as the Marketing Manager for the organization, beginning her career with Heritage in December 2016. Anderson resides in Frewsburg, New York with her husband, Jason, and son Owen, and is actively involved in the dance and arts communities. She is also currently pursuing further education through Cornell University.
In her new role as Corporate Director of Communications, Anderson will serve as the primary communications point of contact for the organization. She will oversee and develop new strategies to evaluate and continually improve, internal and external communications processes, public relations, and media management and relations throughout Heritage senior living communities.
Haglund shared, “With Melissa’s experience in marketing and communications, and the senior care industry, including almost five years as an integral member of our Heritage team, she is uniquely qualified to serve our staff, residents, and their families. We look forward to the future, knowing that Melissa will continue to regard the health and safety of our residents and staff with absolute importance, ensuring transparent, clear, and direct communications from Heritage will strengthen our community relationships. She will work to further enhance and communicate our mission to promote Hope, Dignity, and Purposeful Living to all those entrusted to our care.”
