This week, Alumni Spotlight announced their Top 100 Chief Operating Officers of 2022, which named Whitten. These executive team members are in charge of implementing strategy, managing change, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organizations they serve. This year’s awardees span across nearly all industries including education, information technology, food and beverage production, healthcare, civil engineering, tourism, financial services and more. While their responsibilities vary, their overall goal remains the same – to make the company’s vision become a reality.
Alumni Spotlight wrote, “Jennifer Whitten’s career in healthcare and senior living began more than 17 years ago. Today, she is the Chief Operating Officer for Heritage Ministries, headquartered in Gerry, NY. Heritage Ministries operates a full spectrum of senior services, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, short- and long-term rehabilitation and pharmacy services across 4 states.”
“Whitten has held many roles throughout her career, including sales, marketing and operations, for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Whitten’s career has included leadership roles in senior living, home health care, and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Whitten received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and her MBA in healthcare management from Saint Leo University.”
