Heritage Ministries’ Recruitment and Training Center at the Chautauqua Mall has become a regional Prometric Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) test center! New York State CNA trainees have the opportunity to become certified through Prometric. Though we already provide testing for those trainees enrolled in our CNA certification program, Heritage Ministries was approached by Prometric to serve as a regional CNA test center for any trainee in the community. We are blessed to be able to support the success of our students and those in our surrounding communities as well!
Beginning in June, Heritage Ministries will schedule a test date once a month for trainees to test with NYS. Testing is held at the Heritage Ministries Recruitment and Training Center at the Chautauqua Mall in Lakewood. We will provide test dates for community members who have trained with a CNA program without a Prometric test center. To progress in their careers, these individuals need the support and presence of local test centers. Adding CNAs to our local workforce helps nursing homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities in our communities at a time when we have an extreme shortage of nurses and clinical staff.
As part of our commitment to developing and expanding our workforce, this will allow us to provide the highest quality care possible for those who need it most. Our current CNA class, located in our Chautauqua Mall Recruitment and Training Center, offers a five-week paid training program for any Heritage team member, regardless of previous nursing experience.
